Section N - Avalanche cover

What you are covered for:

We will pay up to the sum insured shown on the Schedule of Benefits for reasonable extra travel and accommodation expenses that you need to pay if your pre-booked outward or return journey is delayed for more than 12 consecutive hours from your scheduled arrival time because of an avalanche.

Special condition which applies to section N

It is a condition of the cover provided under this section that:

  1. You get a written statement from the appropriate authority confirming the reason for the delay and how long it lasted.

What you are not covered for:

  1. The first £50 of each claim for each insured person.
